“Bow Down” because Queen Bey might be servin’ up some honey on the Oscars stage this year!
According to Variety, the Academy is in “deep talks” to not only have Beyoncé perform at this year’s Oscars but to open the show! Since Bey snagged an Oscars nom for Best Original Song “Be Alive” from the King Richard soundtrack, sources say the performance will take place on a tennis court Straight Outta Compton to celebrate Venus and Serena Williams’ epic origin story. And there’s also buzz that Will Smith, who starred in King Richard, might join her for the performance!
This isn’t Beyonce’s first Oscars rodeo as she hit the stage in 2005, again in 2007 alongside her Dreamgirls co-stars, Jennifer Hudson, Anika Noni Rose, and Keith Robinson, and in 2009 alongside Hugh Jackman in honor of musicals.
