On the heels of Channing Crowder’s controversial comparison of Russell to Ciara’s ex, Future, and calling Russ a “square,” a video clip has surfaced of Russell revealing the pickup line that charmed the “Goodies” songstress. On Kevin Hart’s Laugh Out Loud Radio, Russell said that not only did “consistency” woo Ciara, but it was also his wallet!
The now-Denver Broncos quarterback said Ciara took a slight dig at him for his “broken down wallet,” joking that he was “losing” with that one. In response, Russell assured Ciara that if she was with him she would never lose and compared the broken down wallet to “consistency,” which he vowed to be every day.
âI put my finger up and said, âFirst of all, with me, youâre never losing. Second of all, with that wallet, that means consistency. Thatâs what youâre going to get from me. Youâre going to get someone whoâs consistent every day,’â Wilson explained.
His pickup line and infamous prayer had Ciara hooked and the rest is history. The two tied the knot in 2016 and share three kids together, including Ciara’s firstborn with Future.
