Comedian Lil Duval is catchin‘ all the smoke for his latest comments about the most recent episode of P-Valley.
On the last episode, things got pretty steamy during a sex scene between Lil Murda, played by J. Alphonse Nicholson, and his homeboy who was fresh outta the pen, Big Teak, played by John Clarence Stewart. The episode has been a controversial topic since it aired on Sunday, but according to Lil Duval it was way too much for him!
Yea p valley lost me. They need a super gay advisory on movies like they got for everything else. Cuz That’s a lot to see if u not use to it

Of course Lil Duval caught some backlash, considering the same episode had a lesbian sex scene that Duval said didn’t bother him because “that’s what he’s used to.” The show’s producer and writer of the episode, Patrik-Ian Polk, chimed in and warned Duval that he might want to leave Chucalissa, where the show is based, because the “gay ain’t goin’ nowhere.”
As a writer and producer of P Valley, specifically a writer of this episode, I encourage you to step away from Chucalissa. This show is not for you. Go watch something else. Cuz the gay ain’t goin’ nowhere. #pvalley https://t.co/1Wwx1kHEdA

J. Alphonse Nicholson also tweeted in response to the controversy, saying he’s “real grateful” for the conversations surrounding the same sex-scene between men.
The love is real the hate is real. As an actor the ultimate goal is to be as believable as possible. Relax, precise, fierce. Although @PValleySTARZ is a fictional story I’m grateful for the real conversations that are being had. Job well done. #PValleyStarz #LILMURDA #steadygrind pic.twitter.com/NWWK5junRA
