JT and Lil Uzi Drama Over Ice Spice
City Girls’ rapper JT was on her “Act Bad” after her boyfriend Lil Uzi sat next to, and seemed to cozy up for a pic with, “Munch” rapper Ice Spice after a seat shuffle. Awards attendees captured video of JT cursing Uzi out, calling him a “groupie,” and throwing her phone at him!

Patti LaBelle Messes Up Lyrics During Tina Turner Tribute
The iconic Patti LaBelle’s memory wasn’t quite “The Best” as she didn’t know the lyrics during her tribute to fallen rock legend, Tina Turner! Patti said she couldn’t see the lyrics on the teleprompter, but others on social media speculated it may have been a little shade to the fallen rockstar and pulled a receipt of Ms. Patti talking about a negative encounter with an “unnamed” celebrity.

Quavo and Offset Reunite To Honor Fallen Migos Rapper, Takeoff
Migos rappers Quavo and Offset reunited for the first time since the death of their fallen brother and bandmate, Takeoff, who died on November 1st of last year. Quavo and Offset allegedly got into a backstage scuffle at this year’s Grammy’s, just before Quavo’s solo tribute to his nephew, Takeoff. However, it looks like the pair have squashed the beef as they recently celebrated Takeoff’s birthday together in addition to last night’s tribute on the BET Awards.

Busta Rhymes Wins Lifetime Achievement Award
Following a tribute to Busta Rhymes with heartfelt words from Diddy, Pharrell, Janet Jackson, Missy Elliott, Dave Chappelle, Mariah Carey, and June Ambrose, Busta teared up after he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by Swizz Beatz and Marlon Wayans. Busta said he’s “grateful for the blessing that has been bestowed” upon him, thanked all of his kids, and called for more unity amongst hip-hop artists. Alongside his longtime right-hand man, Spliff, Busta performed a melody of some of his biggest hits such as “Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See,” “Ante Up,” “Gimme Some More,” just to name a few. Remy Ma, M.O.P., Swizz Beatz, Rah Digga, and Coi Leray also paid tribute with performances.
