2020 SAG AWARDS NOMS: CYNTHIA ERIVO, SCARLETT JOHANSSON & MORE COMPETE FOR LEAD ACTRESS
Wednesday, Dec 11, 2019

The highly-anticipated 26th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations, which are usually a good predictor of Oscars noms, were announced this morning. Tony award winner Cynthia Erivo was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for Harriet. However, the Tony award-winner will compete with Tony nominee Lupita Nyong’o for her role in Us, Scarlett Johansson in Marriage Story, Renée Zellweger in Judy and Charlize Theron in Bombshell—which led the film nominations with four noms alongside Marriage Story and Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

The SAG Awards will air on TNT and TBS on January 19th at 8pm EST. See below for the full list of nominations and tune in to today’s Dish Nation for our recap!
